i love the flow of the lines and the shading...really reminds me of the ocean

oooh, thank you. no bigger compliment could i have gotten than "ocean." i'm fascinated with everything about the ocean, and i've never seen it.

did you know that the oldest origins of the word "soul" come from some incredibly old germanic word "seula", which means "belonging to the sea," or "living water"?

i find that so cool. it's liek the idea that all life came from single-celled organisms in the sea aeons and aeons ago. and we still have all that history of the beginning of life within us.

and both the human body and the earth's surface are 70% water.

i love the sea/ocean.

well, i actually COULD transfer this to metal somehow. i'd have to figure out which textures to use for the different and varied kinds of shading, etc. it may be a long time coming, but i indeed could do that . i am so incredibly lazy. but winter's always worse than summer.

im both facinated and adore the ocean and cloud/sky
such a mystery but soo pure and beautiful
its such a tisk u've never seen the ocean before
the town i live in is surrounded by bodies of water i like to spend a lot of my time at the beach and the smell is to die for
i could never imagine myself ever moving away from the beach...its like oxygen u cant live without it lol

mmmmm, i'm going to hawaii this summer, so i'll get t see the SEA!!!

i grew up around mountains and desert, and rock, rock, rock-- and lots of interesting plants. so i guess that's a fair trade-off.
